Your skin called. It's done pretending it's okay with "we'll fix it later."

Ginseng + Retinol. Anti-ageing ingredients that actually do the work — not just the marketing.

  • Ginseng Extract boosts collagen, improves elasticity, and energises dull skin
  • Retinol accelerates cell turnover and reduces the appearance of fine lines
  • Firms, plumps, and visibly lifts in 20 minutes
  • Best for mature, ageing, or early-ageing concerns
  • Alcohol-free.

Who it's for:
Anyone noticing fine lines, loss of firmness, or skin that's starting to look less like itself. Best used 2-3 times a week, at night.

How to use:
Cleanse. Apply mask on dry skin. Wait 15 minutes exactly. Remove. Pat in the remaining essence. Don't rinse. Use SPF the next morning — Retinol increases sun sensitivity.

Side effects may include:
Looking suspiciously well-rested. No further explanation needed.

Face O'Clock Ginseng + Retinol Sheet Mask - smoothes fine lines, boosts cell renewal, anti-ageing

What it actually does

01 15

Minutes

Night use only.

02

Retinyl palmitate

The gentlest retinoid ester.

03

Ginseng extract

Elasticity and energy.

04

For fine lines

Firmness, not resurfacing.

Honest about the dose

Retinol, at mask strength

This uses Vitamin A Palmitate, the mildest form of retinoid. That's deliberate: strong enough to be worth including, gentle enough for occasional use. It is not a substitute for a nightly retinol serum, and we won't price it like one.

What to expect

Firmer-looking overnight Ginseng plus hydration, visible next morning
Smoother over weeks Retinyl palmitate supports cell turnover with repeated use
Possible mild tingle Retinoid plus glycolic acid. Normal, but stop if it stings
No rinsing Pat the leftover essence in

What's powering it

Two hero actives, four base actives shared across all our masks. Tap any one.

Hero ingredient

Vitamin A Palmitate

Gentle retinoid

Retinyl palmitate, the mildest retinoid ester. Skin converts it slowly, which means far less irritation than pure retinol and far less punch. Right trade for something you use twice a week.

Hero ingredient

Ginseng Extract

Elasticity, energy

Ginsenosides support circulation and elasticity, which is why skin looks less flat and more resilient after. Traditional use with modern backing.

Shared base

Aloe Vera

Calms, carries

Second ingredient after water in every mask. Soothes on contact and carries the actives in.

Shared base

Niacinamide

Evens tone

In every mask, not just the bright ones. Works on uneven tone and the look of pores, and buffers retinoid irritation.

Shared base

Sodium Hyaluronate

Holds water

Why skin looks plumper straight after. Binds water into the upper layers.

Shared base

Glycolic Acid

Gentle resurfacing

A mask-strength AHA. Loosens dull surface cells, but paired with a retinoid it's why this is a twice-a-week mask, not a nightly one.

What it won't do

Retinol gets oversold harder than anything else in skincare. Here's the boundary.

Match a retinol serum Retinyl palmitate at mask strength, twice weekly, is a fraction of a nightly retinol routine. Different product, different job.
Remove set wrinkles Established lines need sustained prescription-strength treatment or clinical work. This softens their appearance.
Work alongside your other actives Don't use this the same night as another retinoid, an AHA/BHA treatment or vitamin C. Give it its own evening.
Important

Retinoids and glycolic acid both increase sun sensitivity. Use this at night and wear SPF the next morning, non-negotiable. Pregnant or breastfeeding? Check with your doctor before using any retinoid.

Questions people actually ask

How long do I actually leave it on?
15-20 minutes, until it's still slightly damp - don't let it dry out completely on your face, that pulls moisture back out of your skin instead of in.
Can I reuse the leftover essence in the pouch?
Yes - pat it into your neck, hands, or anywhere else that could use it. No reason to waste it.
Is the retinol here strong enough to worry about?
It's a gentle, mask-strength dose meant for occasional use, not a nightly retinol routine - shouldn't cause the irritation a stronger leave-on retinol can, but patch test if you've never used retinol before.
Do I need to moisturize after?
Yes - a mask locks in what's already on your skin, it doesn't replace your moisturizer. Follow up as usual, ideally while skin's still a little damp.
