The details

Everything else, in plain text

How to use it
Step 1: Wet your nose properly - water is what activates the strip. A dry nose means it won't grip, and you'll have wasted a strip learning that. Step 2: Peel off the plastic backing and press the strip on, shiny side down. Flatten out the air bubbles so every bit is touching skin. Step 3: Leave it 10-15 minutes, until it feels stiff like cardboard. Don't push past 20 - longer doesn't pull out more, it just annoys your skin. Step 4: Peel slowly from the edges inward. Yes, you're going to look at it. Everyone does. Step 5: Rinse off any residue and follow with moisturiser. Once or twice a week is plenty. More than that and you're just irritating your skin for no extra payoff.

What it does

Four numbers, no adjectives.

01 10

Strips

Five to ten weeks at the right frequency.

02 15

Minutes

Damp nose to done.

03 1

Use per week

Twice is the ceiling, not the target.

04 5

Actives

Charcoal, witch hazel, licorice, aloe.

Claim autopsy

It clears what is there. It will not stop what is coming.

A strip lifts out days of trapped oil and dead skin in fifteen minutes. That part is real and satisfying. But pores do not close, and they refill. Anyone selling a permanent fix is selling a story.

  • Visible first use
  • Once or twice a week
  • No harsh acids
  • Witch hazel to settle after
Minute 0
Wet the nose

Water activates the strip. A dry nose wastes it.

Minute 5
It grips

The film hardens and locks onto what is in the pore.

Minute 15
Stiff, ready

Cardboard-firm. Do not push past twenty.

After
Slightly pink

Normal. Wait a day before anything important.

What to expect

You will see what came out
The strip lifts debris away with it.
A noticeable tug
That is the adhesive doing its job.
Smoother nose, same day
Surface congestion physically removed.
Slight pinkness after
Normal. Wait a day before an event.
What's in it

What is actually in a strip

Five things doing the work.

The strip

Polyvinyl Alcohol

The lifting film

Applied wet, it hardens as it dries and grips whatever sits in the pore, so it leaves with the strip. It does not reach below the surface.

Skin active

Charcoal Extract

Binds surface oil

Holds onto oil and grime so more of it leaves with the strip. This is why the strip is black.

Skin active

Witch Hazel

Tightens, settles

A natural astringent that helps skin calm down after removal, when a nose is at its most irritated.

Skin active

Licorice Root

Reduces redness

Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate. In here specifically for the pinkness after you peel.

Skin active

Aloe Vera

Comforts

Post-peel comfort. It pulls nothing out. It makes the aftermath kinder.

Concessions

What it will not do

Pore strips are oversold constantly. Here is the boundary.

Shrink your pores

Pore size is largely genetic. An empty pore looks smaller. It does not close.

Stop blackheads returning

Oil and dead skin keep forming. Expect them back in a few weeks. Biology, not product failure.

Treat active acne

Never use a strip over inflamed spots or broken skin. Use the Acne Armour patches.

15minutes

Ten to fifteen minutes on a properly wet nose, then peel from the edges inward. Longer does not pull out more, it just irritates skin. Once or twice a week is the ceiling.

Questions

Questions, answered plainly

How often can I use these?
Once or twice a week is enough. Overusing pore strips just irritates skin without pulling more out.
Will this stop blackheads from coming back?
No - nothing peeled off your nose prevents new oil and dead skin from forming. This clears what's already there; it's not a long-term fix on its own.
Does it hurt to remove?
A little tug, yes - that's the strip doing its job. Wet it slightly first if you want an easier peel.
Can I use it right before an event?
Give it a day if you can - skin can look a bit pink or sensitive right after. Not the move for two hours before something important.
