We collect only what we actually need:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number - when you place an order or sign up for emails.
  • Your shipping address - to deliver your order to you, not to send you unsolicited mail.
  • Payment information - we do not store your card details. Ever. Payments are processed by our payment gateway and we only receive confirmation that the payment went through.
  • Browsing behaviour on our website - pages you visit, time spent, device type.Collected automatically via cookies.
  • Your email address when you subscribe to marketing emails - along with your consent to receive them.

Why We Collect It

  • To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications.
  • To send you marketing emails - but only if you signed up for them. Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email we send. No hard feelings.
  • To understand how people use our website so we can make it better.
  • To show you relevant ads on Meta and Google if you've visited our site. You can opt out - details in the Cookies section.
  • To process your order, pack it, and get it to you.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. We do not trade it. We share it only with the services that make your order happen:

  • Shopify - our store platform. They host and process your order data.
  • Payment gateway (Razorpay) - to process your payment securely.
  • Shipping partners - your name, contact number and delivery address only, so they can deliver your order.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) - via Meta Pixel, for advertising. They may match your data against their own database to show you relevant ads.
  • Google - via Google Analytics and Google Ads, for site analytics and advertising.

All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

Our website uses cookies. Here's what they do:

  • Essential cookies - keep your cart working and your session active. These are non-negotiable for the site to function.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) - track how people use the site. All anonymised.
  • Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) - track visits and actions on our site to show you relevant ads on Instagram and Facebook.

 How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Order data is retained as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
  • Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Browsing data collected via cookies is subject to the retention policies of Google and Meta respectively. 

Data Security

Our website runs on Shopify, which is PCI-DSS compliant and uses SSL encryption. We do not store card information on our servers. No system is completely impenetrable, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you promptly if a breach occurs.

Children's Privacy

Our products and website are intended for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted their information to us, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business grows or as laws change. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and flag significant changes on our website. Continuing to use faceoclock.in after an update means you've accepted the revised policy.
